TOPICAL SEALERS

 

HIGH GLOSS

Helix High Gloss sealer is a workhorse product. A tough pure 100% acrylic sealer in a solvent base. Great for exterior use, it is designed to protect types of concrete surfaces from water, dust, stains and imparts a beautiful high gloss coating. Helix High Gloss sealer is non-yellowing, to preserve the appearance of all types of decorative concrete.

SATIN

Helix Satin sealer is a proven classic with a modern flare. When you’re looking for an elegant sheen without too much wet-look, Satin steals the show. Great for exterior use. Helix Satin sealer is a high quality, 100% acrylic, solvent-based breathable sealer designed to protect surfaces from water, dust, stains and dirt. Produces a satin finish when dry.

SATINWB

Helix SatinWB sealer is a water-based, single component, epoxy-modified, acrylic sealer that dries crystal clear, creating an elegant finish that ranges from a satin sheen to a matte finish, depending on the light angle on the surface and number of coats. Helix Semi-GlossWB performs well inside and outside, on both new and old surfaces, will not yellow over time, and is more durable than standard water-based acrylic sealers.

MATTE

Helix Matte sealer is a tough pure acrylic concrete sealer in a solvent base. It is designed to protect and beautify all types of concrete with a matte finish. Helix Matte sealer is non-yellowing to preserve the appearance of all types of decorative concrete. A High solids (25%) formulation for easy sprayability and ease of use.

PENETRATING SEALERS

 

REPEL

Helix Repel is a great choice for protecting concrete surfaces from moisture without changing the original appearance of the substrate. Helix Repel is a solvent-based Silane and Siloxane hybrid silicone water repellent that is excellent for porous materials such as brick, stone, concrete blocks, mortar, grout, and existing or newly poured concrete. After applying, water and other liquids immediately bead up on the treated surface. The active ingredients in Helix Repel are a proprietary combination of chemical compounds designed to react with the substrate, ensuring long-lasting protection against water, stains, free-thaw and salt damage. It is not suitable for very low-porosity substrates such as polished stone or polished concrete.

REPELWB

Helix RepelWB is a water-based version of Helix Repel sealer (above). Helix RepelWB is a great choice for protecting concrete surfaces from moisture without changing the original appearance of the substrate. Siloxane guards the surface concrete while Silane penetrates deeply to protect steel wire and rebar. It is not suitable for very low-porosity substrates such as polished stone or polished concrete.

COLOR ENHANCER

Helix Color Enhancer is a new generation penetrating and waterproofing solvent-based sealer. Color Enhancer will seal and enhance the surface of decorative concrete without adding a glossy or “plastic look” often associated with traditional film-forming sealers. Designed for use on colored concrete, stamped and textured concrete, pool decks, and concrete pavers, Helix Color Enhancer does just that, it enhances the color of the surface, while penetrating deep into the surface to forms a long-lasting level of protection to repel water, oil, and other common sources of contamination and staining.

POLYURETHANEWB

PolyurethaneWB is a 2 component 57% solids, water based acrylic polyurethane designed as a non-yellowing clear coating for concrete, cement based overlays, or as a top finish coat on epoxy systems. This high-performance clear top coat is available in gloss or satin finish and provides the durability of a solvent-based system with the ease and safety of a low VOC water-based system.

Unlike nearly all polyurethanes, PolyurethaneWB has remarkable vapor permeability for use in exterior settings. Can be used vertically as an anti-graffiti coating.

POLYASPARTIC

Helix Polyaspartic sealer is a high-performance, low odor, high-solids, 2-component, aliphatic polyaspartic with a gloss finish and a 30-minute working time. This product yields a U.V. Stable, hard, resilient and abrasion resistant film with great splash and chemical spill resistance properties. Helix Polyaspartic can be used for a variety of applications to include body coats or wear surfaces for commercial, industrial, or residential traffic environments. Great as a topcoat over metallic or flake epoxies, or even as a body coat mixed with the metallic or flake. Can be tinted using a Helix Tint Pack or metallic powders.

FRESH CONCRETE SEALERS

 

CURE & SEAL

Helix Cure & Seal is a high-solids acrylic polymer, film-forming curing and sealing compound that is available in a gloss or matte finish. Helix Cure & Seal leaves a clear film that assists the cure of freshly-placed concrete and helps protect surfaces from chalking, staining and dirt contamination.

CURE & SEALWB

Helix Cure & SealWB is a water-based acrylic emulsion that functions both as a membrane-curing compound and as a sealer for colored and uncolored concrete. This product can be used on colored concrete as long as extreme care is taken to apply Helix Cure & SealWB uniformly. Helix Cure and SealWB forms a dust-proof concrete seal that also repels water and stains. Helix Cure and SealWB will not yellow, haze or flake. Does not contain petroleum distillates, paraffins or waxes.
